During this period, the servers will be shut down and Papaya is not going to be available to the public user.
After that, Papaya will come back with better performance.

We decided the remove the registration from our website. In the future, if you want to sign up for an account or sign in into your account, you will have to do it on your mobile phones. We made this change to focus our efforts on the mobile platforms to bring you the best experience on mobile devices. Our new development on web will be coming soon.
Here are the Changes:
- Starting from today users will get 5 papayas every day when you use Papaya. Users can use the papayas to play Blackjack or buy costumes for your avatar.
- We also launched Papaya Windows Mobile. Now you can invite your friends who are using Windows Mobile phones!
- Since we made several major changes to the games, the Papaya Java 1.5 game lobby is not functional anymore. In order to play games, users will have to upgrade your application to Papaya Java 1.6.
- We released a new Blackjack game.
- We changed our game rewarding system a little bit. Instead of getting bonus papayas monthly, now anyone who gets the top position each day for any games (except for BlackJack) will get bonus papayas.
- The games on "Papaya Game Edition" in the iPhone app store are not available any more.

We just uploaded our new iPhone Papaya to the iPhone app store. This is going to be a new product in the app store, and the name of the application is called "Papaya". We revamped all the UI, and added avatar to the new version. At the same time, we are going to release a premium version for Papaya (Papaya Premium - $4.99). "Papaya Premium" is exactly the same as "Papaya" but once a user purchases "Papaya Premium", we will refill the user's account with 6000 papayas. The user can use the papayas to buy clothing and accessories for his/her avatar and use them as chips in the game "Blackjack".

Papaya Windows version was finally released. This version is very similar to our Java version,but without games yet. Chat room is not included in the WinMo version because we will gradually disable the chat room feature for Papaya in the future. The screenshots of this version can be seen in below. Users can choose to download it from wap.papayamobile.com on their mobile phones now.
Today we are really happy to announce that Papaya Java 1.5 with avatar was release. The new feature list is:
1. Press "0" to change the skin color of Papaya.
2. You will get an avatar on your homepage and customize it with awesome clothing and accessories.
3. Papaya credit becomes cash in our system which you can use to purchase SMSs and VOIP. You can also use Papaya credit to exchange for "papayas" which can be used to purchase virtual goods on Papaya.
4. When a chat room's life becomes 8 days, it gets customized background color and extra emoticons.
5. Now you can send pictures via mail and download pictures to your phone.
6. Now you can exchange your phone numbers with your friends on your friends' homepage.
7. You can see friends' status on MSN, Google Talk, and Yahoo IM.
8. You can see your friends' game score in single games now.
Today we launched Papaya Game Edition on iPhone. This is the first product that we launched on the iPhone platform. In order to find Papaya Game Edition, just search for "Papaya Game Edition" in the iPhone App Store. This version doesn't have all the features that Java has but the feature set will be completed very soon. Currently, users can use homepage, IMs, chat rooms, mails, and other basic features on Papaya Game Edition.
